MIC-836
GENERAL
DESCRIPTION: MIC-836 is a high alkaline, chlorinated
liquid formulated for removing protein and other food
build-ups, as well as de-staining purposes. Formulated
to provide high alkalinity and oxidation for outstanding
performance against those soils associated with food,
dairy, and beverage plants. MIC-836 has an A1 USDA
rating.

USE PROCEDURE: MIC-836 can be used in C.I.P.,
spray machine, soak, recirculating, and foam applications.
Use within one hour after making up solution. For
C.I.P., spray machine, and soak systems, use at 1/2
to 1-1/2 ounces per gallon in a temperature range
of 125°F to 160°F. For general cleaning and
recirculation systems, use at 1/2 to 2-1/2 ounces
per gallon at 130°F to 140°F with potable
water for rinse to follow. For difficult soils, use
at 5% to 20% by volume. For foam application, use
at 5% to 10% by volume with 2% to 3% of LP-900 Foam
respectively in 100°F water.
METAL SAFETY: Safe on copper, stainless steel, ferrous metals, PVC, rubber, and glass at use dilutions. Not safe on aluminum, galvanized, or other soft metals.
STORAGE AND HANDLING: Avoid storing in sun or near heated areas. Store in cool locations. Use caution when removing bung in case slight pressure has built up. Avoid storing solution in equipment for extended periods. Avoid contact with soft metals and acid materials.
SAFETY DATA: Contains sodium hydroxide. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. DO NOT INGEST. When handling, wear rubber gloves, goggles and any other appropriate equipment or clothing to avoid skin contact. Avoid contact with clothing. Should contact occur, flush skin with water; for eyes, flood with large amounts of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. If ingestion occurs, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Drink fruit juice, milk or vinegar and get medical attention immediately. Read the Material Safety Data sheet before using.
