 Take Off

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Take Off is a highly concentrated, inhibited, liquid descaler. Take Off is used as a replacement for powdered acids that take too long to dissolve or may not dissolve completely and thus not neutralize completely. Take Off is used to remove lime, rust, scale, and soap deposits and is safe on all metal surfaces except magnesium, zinc, and zinc alloys.

USE PROCEDURE: Take Off can be used in soak or spray applications and can be diluted as far as one part Take Off to twenty parts water. Take Off concentration depends upon a number of factors including allotted descale time, bath temperature, and the amount of material to be removed. Michigan Industrial Coating' lab should be consulted prior to use in order to determine the proper removal procedure.

MATERIAL SAFETY: Strong acid. Do not use on marble, terrazzo, or untreated stone. When using, always wear a face shield or goggles, rubber gloves, and protective clothing. Do not take internally. Contains concentrated Mineral Acid. Keep out of the reach of children.

SAFETY DATA: Contains Hydrochloric Acid, corrosion inhibitors and powerful penetrants. For skin contact, flush thoroughly with water. For eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician at once. If taken internally, do not induce vomiting. Give a mild solution of milk of magnesia plaster, soap chips, bicarbonate of soda, or large amount of water or milk.
