Alkaline General Purpose Cleaner

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: MetClean 7LF is an alkaline, silicate based metal cleaner designed for use in spray or immersion cleaning operations. It can be used in a single or multi-stage washers. It contains a biodegradable surfactant that is effective in removing ordinary shop oils and soils. MetClean 7LF is suitable for use in areas of hard water. It is safe for use on soft metals such as aluminum and zinc.

USING PROCEDURE: Concentration is usually 1% to 5% by volume. The effective operating temperature range is 100°F to 150°F. MetClean 7LF is recommended as a general purpose cleaner covering a wide range of water and soil conditions. It possesses low foaming characteristics that permit its use over a wide operating temperature range.

EQUIPMENT: All equipment for the use of MetClean 7LF can be of mild steel. In spray equipment nozzles should be v -jet for maximum impingement. Stainless steel nozzles are preferred because of low maintenance and long life.

MATERIAL SAFETY: Safe on steel, aluminum and other soft metals.

SAFETY DATA: Do not take internally. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. In case of contact with skin, flush with water.
