 Emulsion Degreaser

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Emulsion Degreaser is a non-toxic, industrial solvent that can be used to clean even the greasiest of equipment. Emulsion Degreaser has a high KB value which shows that it is capable of dissolving even the toughest grease and oils. The high flash point of Emulsion Degreaser allows it to be heated to industry standard cleaning temperatures which makes Emulsion Degreaser even more effective. Emulsion Degreaser contains only 6.56% w/v VOCS and with its very low evaporation rate it is not considered a HAP ( Hazardous Air Pollutant). Emulsion Degreaser is also readily biodegradable and as such it is SNAP (Significant New Alternative Policy) approved by the EPA.

USE PROCEDURE: Emulsion Degreaser is used as is and is not cut back with water. Brush, spray on, or dip parts into the solution. Soak for five to ten minutes, rinse with warm or cold water under pressure. A milky white emulsion is noticed carrying off grease, oil, and dirt. Surface will be shiny and clean after rinsing. Extremely dirty parts may require extended soak times. If used in a dip operation, slight agitation of the solution is recommended. Emulsion Degreaser can also be used in multistage spray washers in the stage that the alkaline cleaner would be used. In all operations heat will improve the performance of the product but is not required.

MATERIAL SAFETY: Safe on all metal, and painted surfaces. Safe on many rubber compounds. Please call for a rubber compatibility list.

SAFETY DATA: Emulsion Degreaser contains Soybean oil methyl esters and while it is non-toxic, the product should not be ingested. Emulsion Degreaser is only slightly irritating to skin and eyes. Read MSDS fully and follow all safety precautions.
