GENERAL DESCRIPTION: BC-93 is a polymer based product designed to facilitate clean-up of paint and adhesive application booths. It can also be utilized on other equipment and non-traffic floors that require periodic clean-up of difficult-to-remove chemicals or soils. The dual purpose of cleanliness and safety is served by the use of BC-93. In its literature, the National Association of Fire Protection Association stresses the importance of keeping finishing areas clean of over spray on a regular basis to lower fire hazard inherent in such operations.
PROPERTIES: When allowed to dry properly, BC-93 leaves a tough, durable peelable film that holds large paint loads with no penetration. It may be applied to most surfaces, but peelability should be determined before applying to large areas.
APPLICATION: Use BC-93 as received with no dilution. Employing regular paint spray equipment, apply on clean surface. BC-93 sprays well with 40 to 60 pounds air pressure with 50 to 60 pounds fluid pressure depending on nozzle head and type of spray equipment used. For fast dry-tack time, ventilation booth fans should be operated while spraying. BC-93 can be applied by brush, roller, or dispenser if desired, however spray works best. A good air flow speeds polymerization and should be used in all applications for safety in use.
Deliver enough product to hide underlying surface. Coverage is approximately 80 to 120 square feet per gallon. Immediately clean equipment with water or water miscible solvents.
SAFETY DATA: As with use of any chemical product, use with adequate ventilation and avoid contact by use of appropriate clothing. Read label on drum and Material Safety Data sheet before using.
