Aluma Brite
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Aluma Brite is a blend of Hydrofluoric and Sulfuric Acids for cleaning, brightening and de-rusting of aluminum surfaces. Aluma Brite contains special detergents that assist the acids in penetrating and removing scale and oxide buildup. Aluma Brite also contains chemicals to inhibit aggressive attack of the underlying aluminum.

USE PROCEDURE: Aluma Brite should be used at a rate of 5% to 10% (1:20 to 1:10). Apply on aluminum with an acid resistant sprayer and allow to soak for 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse off. Concentration and the amount of dwell time on the aluminum is dependent on the amount of oxide and scale present. In severe cases brushing of the aluminum surface with a soft to medium bristle brush may be required.
MATERIAL SAFETY: Aluma Brite is safe on all aluminum surfaces. Safe on painted and lettered surfaces. Aluma Brite can etch or mar glass and should not be used on tractors as it can dull windshield glass and cause it to weaken.
SAFETY DATA: Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Do not breathe vapors. Extremely corrosive to skin. Operator should wear plastic goggles, rubber gloves and a dust mask if product is sprayed. In case of contact with skin, immediately wash with soap and water. For eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. If swallowed, drink water with milk of magnesia. Call a physician. Read Material Safety Data Sheet before using product.
